Description

**Svalbard Oak Eco Laminate Flooring – KRONO Laminate Floors**

Svalbard Oak laminate flooring is an eco-friendly laminate flooring option designed for modern residential interiors. Part of the KRONO laminate flooring collection, this flooring combines advanced European manufacturing technology with the natural beauty of oak timber. The Svalbard Oak decor features soft natural tones and detailed wood grain patterns that replicate the appearance of real timber flooring while offering the durability and convenience of laminate flooring.

The natural oak colour of Svalbard Oak laminate flooring creates a calm and balanced interior environment. Its light and neutral tones work well with a wide range of design styles, including modern Scandinavian interiors, minimalist spaces, contemporary homes, and classic residential settings. The realistic timber texture enhances the visual depth of the floor and provides the warm aesthetic of natural wood while maintaining the low-maintenance advantages of laminate flooring.

Svalbard Oak laminate flooring is manufactured using **Moisture Defence Technology**, which helps protect the floor from common household situations such as drink spills or small amounts of water exposure. This protection supports the durability of the flooring and allows homeowners to enjoy the natural appearance of timber flooring with greater reliability in everyday living environments.

A key structural advantage of this flooring is the advanced **O.R.C.A. board technology**. This innovative board structure enhances moisture resistance while maintaining the strength of organic wood-based materials. Through a specialised production process, organic materials within the laminate board are treated to improve their resistance to liquids while preserving the structural stability of the flooring.

Because of this advanced board technology, Svalbard Oak laminate flooring can be installed in a wide variety of interior spaces within the home. The flooring performs well in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, kitchens, and other everyday living areas. It also offers excellent thermal stability and resistance to fading, making it suitable for bright rooms, sunrooms, and spaces with large windows where natural sunlight is present.

The durability of the board structure is achieved through a refined manufacturing process. During production, wood fibres are mechanically processed multiple times to create extremely fine fibres. These fibres are then bonded using a specially developed organic-chemical binding agent that surrounds each fibre and helps isolate it from moisture. This manufacturing process strengthens the laminate board and contributes to long-term structural performance.

Svalbard Oak eco laminate flooring from the KRONO range offers a combination of natural oak design, environmentally conscious materials, and advanced moisture-resistant technology. It provides a reliable and stylish laminate flooring solution suitable for modern homes seeking durable and eco-friendly flooring.

KRONO O.R.C.A

O.R.C.A. (Organic*1 Rigid Coreboard Abrasion-proof Flooring) brings together the natural beauty of wood with advanced waterproofing performance.

It is made exclusively from timber sourced in sustainably managed forests. Free from PVC*4 and made with organic chemical binders. Our floors store biogenic CO2 during their lifetime.

Inspired by traditional wooden barrels and boats, O.R.C.A. flooring uses wood’s natural self-sealing properties to resist moisture for up to 100 hours*3. This quality makes it suitable for bathrooms, hallways, kitchens, and even high-traffic public spaces.

Each one of its wood fibers is individually encapsulated in a special moisture-repellent binder, reducing water absorption and ensuring long-lasting dimensional stability.

O.R.C.A.® comes in a variety of formats, thicknesses, and plank sizes, offering total design freedom while meeting the technical needs of each space.
