Description

**O.R.C.A. Technology Organic Waterproof Laminate Flooring – Made in Germany KRONO laminate flooring**

KRONO laminate flooring manufactured in Germany combines advanced European flooring technology with the natural strength of organic wood-based materials. Designed for modern residential interiors, this laminate flooring offers a balance of durability, moisture resistance, and authentic timber appearance. The realistic wood grain texture and natural colour variations provide the visual warmth of real wood flooring while maintaining the practicality and stability expected from modern laminate floors.

A key feature of this flooring is the innovative **O.R.C.A. board technology**, which significantly improves the moisture resistance of laminate flooring. O.R.C.A. technology combines the benefits of biologically based flooring materials with the performance of modern waterproof flooring systems. Through a specialised manufacturing process, organic materials used in the board structure are treated so that they become more resistant to liquids while preserving the strength and natural stability of the laminate board.

Because of this advanced board technology, KRONO laminate flooring can be used across a wide range of interior spaces within the home. The flooring performs reliably in living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, hallways, and other everyday residential areas. When installed according to recommended installation guidelines, the flooring can also be used in areas that may occasionally experience moisture, such as private bathrooms, where traditional laminate flooring was previously not considered suitable.

KRONO laminate flooring also offers excellent thermal stability and resistance to fading. These characteristics allow the flooring to maintain its colour and structural stability in bright living spaces, conservatories, and rooms with large floor-to-ceiling windows where sunlight exposure and temperature fluctuations are common.

The strength and durability of the laminate board are achieved through a carefully engineered European manufacturing process. During production, wood fibres are mechanically processed multiple times to produce extremely fine fibres. These fibres are then bonded using a specially developed organic-chemical binding agent that surrounds each fibre and helps isolate it from moisture. This refined manufacturing process improves the structural stability of the board and supports long-term flooring performance.

Manufactured in Germany, KRONO laminate flooring provides a reliable combination of natural wood appearance, organic board structure, and advanced moisture-resistant technology. This flooring solution delivers durable performance and modern design, making it suitable for a wide variety of residential interiors.

KRONO O.R.C.A

O.R.C.A. (Organic*1 Rigid Coreboard Abrasion-proof Flooring) brings together the natural beauty of wood with advanced waterproofing performance.

It is made exclusively from timber sourced in sustainably managed forests. Free from PVC*4 and made with organic chemical binders. Our floors store biogenic CO2 during their lifetime.

Inspired by traditional wooden barrels and boats, O.R.C.A. flooring uses wood’s natural self-sealing properties to resist moisture for up to 100 hours*3. This quality makes it suitable for bathrooms, hallways, kitchens, and even high-traffic public spaces.

Each one of its wood fibers is individually encapsulated in a special moisture-repellent binder, reducing water absorption and ensuring long-lasting dimensional stability.

O.R.C.A.® comes in a variety of formats, thicknesses, and plank sizes, offering total design freedom while meeting the technical needs of each space.

BPIR

The BPIR is commonly used during design development and building consent processes to support product selection and documentation.
