Description

Natural oak parquet, paired with a decorative crystal chandelier and antique columns, elevates an interior into a space of lasting luxury and elegance. Softly toned walls with refined stucco work provide the ideal backdrop, allowing the non-standard dimensions and natural colour of the wood boards to take centre stage.

Washed wax Oiled flooring brings brightness and vitality into the home through the gentle character of engineered natural oak. Its textured surface highlights expressive grain and knot details, enriched by subtle tonal variations across each plank. Every board is finished with brushed oil to enhance depth and touch. For optimal protection and longevity, a satin oil application is recommended immediately after installation on all oiled floors.

Fresh white tones sharpen the visual atmosphere, creating a serene and romantic mood. The brushed surface feels more dynamic than a smooth plane, as though the grain can be touched with the eyes. The deeper and heavier the brushing, the stronger the tactile impression—an effect that amplifies the wood’s inherent beauty.

A glue-down installation secures the flooring directly to the substrate with adhesive. This method is particularly suitable for real wood flooring, as it limits the natural expansion and contraction of the material, resulting in greater long-term stability.

Most interior spaces benefit from an average plank width of around 220 mm, which can make smaller rooms appear visually larger. Thickness is another essential factor when choosing flooring, influencing both durability and performance.

Duke flooring collections are crafted exclusively from genuine wood. Due to the natural characteristics of the raw material, individual boards may vary in colour, knot formation, and grain pattern. For this reason, the final installed floor may differ slightly from showroom samples, marketing images, or digital representations.

Natural oak remains a timeless choice in wood flooring—classic, versatile, and enduringly beautiful.
