Description

Barlinek Engineered Wood Flooring – Oak Cappuccino

Barlinek Oak Cappuccino is an engineered oak flooring design that balances soft colour tones with the natural strength of real wood. The light, white-toned staining complements the character of single-plank oak, creating a calm and refined appearance suitable for a wide range of interior styles.

The surface is brushed to gently reveal the natural grain and texture of the wood, enhancing its visual depth without appearing overly rustic. Subtle four-sided bevels define each plank, adding structure and understated elegance to the overall floor layout. A matt lacquer finish completes the surface, offering a low-sheen appearance that supports everyday use while preserving the natural look of oak.

In selected designs, a double-staining process introduces additional visual complexity. Natural beige wood tones are complemented by delicate white brushing, with a matt lacquer layer providing consistency and protection. Two-sided micro-bevelling further refines the appearance, contributing to a clean and balanced floor profile.

Barlinek Real Wood Flooring

Barlinek engineered wood flooring is manufactured in Europe and features a layered construction made entirely of real wood. The engineered structure is designed to improve dimensional stability, helping the floor perform reliably under normal indoor temperature and humidity conditions.

Barlinek places strong emphasis on production technology and process control, with ongoing investment in modern manufacturing equipment. These measures support consistent product quality and contribute to reduced environmental impact during production, in line with applicable European manufacturing standards.

Why Choose Barlinek Engineered Oak Flooring?

Natural wood flooring gives interiors a distinctive character that evolves. Engineered oak flooring from Barlinek is made entirely from real wood and developed with a carefully considered layered structure to enhance stability.

This construction helps the floor resist movement caused by changes in indoor climate, reducing the risk of excessive shrinking, expansion, or noise that can occur with some traditional solid timber floors. In addition, the real wood wear layer allows the surface to be sanded and refinished, extending the usable life of the floor when maintained correctly.

Tastes of Life Collection

Tastes of Life is a flooring collection developed for those who value design, material quality, and thoughtful interiors. The collection was created in collaboration with finalists from the “Creations from Nature” design competition organised by the Barlinek Institute of Design.

Four designers contributed individual design concepts, each offering a distinct interpretation of interior style. While different in approach, all designs share a common foundation: the natural beauty, texture, and quality of genuine wood. This combination of creative vision and real timber material defines the character of the Tastes of Life collection.

Barlinek

The Barlinek Group is a global leader in the manufacture of engineered wood flooring, with an annual production capacity of up to 12 million square metres.

Beyond its flagship Barlinek floorboards, the Group also produces certified sports flooring, skirting boards, and wood-based biofuels, including premium-quality wood pellets and fireplace briquettes. These products are widely recognised for their consistent performance and high manufacturing standards.

Barlinek places strong emphasis on advanced production technology and on ensuring that its finished products are environmentally responsible and ecologically neutral. Continuous investment in modern equipment and ongoing plant upgrades has positioned Barlinek among the cleanest manufacturing operations in Poland’s wood flooring industry.

The company’s approach demonstrates that environmental protection can be more than a regulatory obligation—it can form a core part of a long-term, sustainable development strategy. This commitment is reflected not only in production processes but also in broader environmental and educational initiatives.

For many years, Barlinek has operated its “1 for 1” programme, under which the planting of one tree is co-financed for every pack of Barlinek floorboards bearing the programme logo. Through this initiative, the Barlinek Customers’ Forest has grown to nearly 15 million trees, turning individual purchases into a tangible contribution to reforestation.

BPIR

The BPIR is commonly used during design development and building consent processes to support product selection and documentation. It summarises key product information that may be referenced when assessing building code considerations. Final compliance decisions remain subject to project-specific design and review by the relevant building consent authority.

MSDS

The MSDS outlines material safety and handling information relevant during transport, storage, and installation. It is typically referenced by installers and contractors to understand basic safety considerations when working with the product. Site-specific health and safety procedures should always take precedence.

Alternative Solution

This document is used where the product is proposed as part of an alternative solution pathway under the New Zealand Building Code. It provides supporting information that may assist design and consent discussions for non-standard applications. Acceptance of any alternative solution depends on the specific project and the assessment of the building consent authority.

Installation

This document describes typical installation methods, substrate requirements, and environmental considerations for this flooring system. It is intended to guide experienced installers in planning and carrying out installation works. Installation details must be confirmed against actual site conditions and project requirements before installation.

Warranty

This document explains the scope and duration of the product warranty, along with key conditions and exclusions. It is intended to help users understand how warranty coverage is typically applied in practice. Eligibility for warranty coverage is subject to compliance with the stated terms and conditions.
