Get to know flooring troubleshooting. Sometimes, we will get some responses from customers about their flooring problems. But, most of the problems belong to the natural feature of the wood rather than the quality of the wood product. On the contrary, these wood features can make the flooring look more natural and charming.

In terms of wood feature, every piece of solid wooden flooring and engineered wooden flooring is unique, including the grain variations and the color variations because the unpredictability of nature makes sure that your flooring is a one-of-a-kind.

If you prefer the flooring with a uniform appearance, we suggest you choose stained flooring because the stains can mask the different shades. Normally, the prime grade flooring is great for a more regular look, as it carries less color variation.

In the installation process, it is important to stagger the joints, ensuring the flooring holds its integrity. However, a professional installer should install the bowed boards without trouble.

Warping is where the plank cupping or crowning, which means where the center of the plank is low and the edges are high or where the center of the board is high, and the edges are low. Lifting is a term that refers to a board that comes away from the subfloor. Gaps are the term that means the small spaces which can appear between boards after installation.
